The journalists were allowed to obtain accreditation for the matches of the Premier League and Cup of Ukraine – Pavelko

KIEV. June 17. UNN. The head of the UAF Andriy Pavelko said that media were allowed to get accreditations for the matches of the Premier League and Cup of Ukraine, reports UNN with reference to his Facebook page.

“Already in the nearest matches of the Premier League and Cup of Ukraine, you (journalists – ed.) will be able to obtain accreditation for coverage of matches. Understand the importance of the work of media representatives at matches and inform fans about the football battles.

Recently this issue was discussed with the President of the Association of sports journalists Alexander Glyvynskyy. Next, I initiated the request to the Ministry of health with a request to increase the quota of participants in football events from 200 to 230. Only that the UAF received a positive response,” he wrote.

Pavelko thanked the Minister of health, Maxim Stepanov and chief sanitary doctor of Ukraine Victor Liashko.

“Now journalists can count on 30 accreditations for the matches in the press box. Of course, with a clear adherence to medical Protocol.

However, the press conferences after the game in the usual format is not provided. But the decision of the Ministry of health is already a major success,” – said the head of the UAF.

He also added that “the next step is the return on tribunes of fans”.

“I really hope that this will happen in the near future and the UAF will do everything possible”, – summed up Pavelko.

As he wrote the UNN, Pavelko supported the initiative to broadcast the matches of the First League.
