During the week, recorded a number of DDoS attacks on the website of the Office of the President

KIEV. June 16. UNN. For the period from 10 to 16 June 2020 was blocked by 5 DDoS attacks, the vast majority – on the website of the Office of the President of Ukraine. It is reported by UNN citing the press service of the State service for special communication and information protection of Ukraine.

“System cyber-security of state information resources and objects of critical infrastructure objects monitoring has recorded 45 973 suspicious events, 16% less than the previous week. The vast majority of reported suspicious events concern attempts, network scanning (55%), identify non-standard protocols or events (27%), identifying network Troyan (7%), web-based attacks (6%) and attempts to obtain administrator rights (4%)”, – stated in the message.

It is noted that the secure access of state bodies to the Internet blocked 7664 various types of attacks, which is 49% less than the previous week. The vast majority (98%) is network attacks application layer.

“Also blocked 5 of DDoS attacks, the vast majority – to the websites of the Office of the President of Ukraine”, – added in the message.

So, the government response team computer emergency events in Ukraine CERT-UA in this period recorded and processed 463 cyberincidents.

The vast majority of processed incidents belongs to the domain zone UACOM (about 95%). The basic number of incidents for distribution SHPZ (94% of the total number) and phishing (2%).

We will remind, from may 27 to June 2, secure access of state bodies to the Internet blocked 25 DDoS attacks, the vast majority of them on the websites of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
