In the final swim of the world championship on swimming on short water (the pool is 25 meters long) Ukrainian overcame the distance of 1500 metres in 14 minutes 09,14. Silver medalist, the Italian Gregorio Paltrinieri finished with a backlog of just 0.73 seconds. Third went to Norwegian Henrik Christiansen, who finished in 10 second later Ukrainian.
