The national Council of Ukraine on television and radio broadcasting will check Ukrainian TV channel after it broadcast the head of political Council of party “Oppositional platform For the life of the” Viktor Medvedchuk “appreciated” the initiatives of the Russian President Vladimir Putin in international politics.

“In his commentary Viktor Medvedchuk welcomed the initiative of the Russian President in international politics and expressed optimism for their implementation”, — said the Ukrainian Ministry.
They also added that the broadcast was made “only position, which now defends the official Moscow”.
“In one speech or the speeches of leading guests of TV shows… was Not filed information and evaluation in the context of urgent situation with armed aggression of Russian Federation against Ukraine”, — stated in the National Council, noting that, in addition to “approving comments”, the editors of the TV channel “did not provide broadcast other opinions”.
The Ministry clarified that demonstrated Medvedchuk’s position “is favorable for the Russian government,” and “provides information support of actions of the Russian leadership.”
This, according to authorities, is a threat to national security of Ukraine.
In December 2019, the national Council of Ukraine on television and radio broadcasting decided to check the TV channel “Our” in connection with the broadcast of the press conference of Vladimir Putin.
