Director European regional Bureau of who Hans Kluge warned about the threat of “destructive” re-surge of coronavirus. He stated this during an online briefing, the data which leads to RIA “Novosti”.
According to Kluge, the second wave is not inevitable, however, amid the lifting of restrictions, the threat of re-surge of infection becomes almost inevitable, given that society is still no vaccine or treatment for coronavirus. “If not to stop these bursts, the second wave can occur and it can become very destructive,” said he.
Earlier it was reported that flare-UPS are possible until the end of 2021, as a vaccine against coronavirus can be expected until the end of 2020. Russian scientists also said that the pandemic will subside only when the new disease have been ill 70-80% of the population.
