The number of unemployed in Russia has reached 950 thousand people, in the last month of the observed dynamics to restrained growth of this indicator within the forecasts of the Ministry of labor. About it on air of TV channel “Russia 24” stated the Minister of labour and social protection Anton Kotkov.

“Today, according to our data, the statistics reached 950 thousand persons, that is, the last month or two, we see, of course, dynamics of growth, but this is a fairly restrained pace of growth, which we, in principle, according to their forecasts, and expected,” he said.
At the beginning of April in the Fes stated that assessment of the situation on the Russian labor market as stable, but do not exclude its deterioration and prepare for such a scenario.
As noted Katkov, about 65 billion rubles will be allocated for the payment of unemployment benefits and paid sick leave.
