The introduction of martial law in Odessa region must be minimally visible and will not provide for any restrictions of the rights and freedoms of citizens.
The Verkhovna Rada approved the decree of the President about introduction of the martial law / photo UNIAN Odessa region in connection with the imposition of martial law lead to the combat readiness of air defense.

About this UNIAN reported in a press-service of the Odessa regional state administration with reference to the head of regional state administration Maxim Stepanov.

According to him, there is a certain list of actions, which is provided for the military situation.

“Among them will strengthen measures information and cyber security. Driven standby air defence. The border guards enhance the protection of the state border. I can assure residents that we will do everything possible to continue to live his normal life”, – said Stepanov.

It is noted that the introduction of martial law in Odessa region must be minimally visible and do not provide any restrictions of the rights and freedoms of citizens.

Stepanov said that the presidential decree does not provide for any restrictions on rights and freedoms of citizens.

“If there is no open invasion by the Russian Federation, no restrictions of civil rights will occur. Reason for panic,” – said the head of RSA.

Also the head of the region urged people not to spread unverified information, in particular, on the confiscation of property, forced labor service or military settlement in the apartments of civilians.

As reported the UNIAN, 26 November the Verkhovna Rada adopted the decree of the President about introduction of martial law in several regions of Ukraine for 30 days.

Introduced in Vinnytsia, Luhansk, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Odesa, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Donetsk, Zaporozhye and Kherson areas, and also in the internal waters of the Azov-Kerch water area from 14.00 on 26 November at 14.00 26 Dec 2018.
