The head of the OAS said that thousands of Cubans involved in torture in Venezuela and Nicaragua

KIEV. 8 Dec. UNN. The Secretary-General of the Organization of American States (OAS) Luis Almagro made a statement that thousands of Cubans participated in the torture in Venezuela and Nicaragua. The corresponding statement he made at the conference on human rights in Cuba, in Washington. It is reported by UNN with reference to the profile of the Secretary General on Twitter.

“In Venezuela, it was recorded the presence of Cubans in the torture of people. The number of Cubans in Venezuela is estimated at 46 thousand. It is the occupying force that taught torture and repression, leading intelligence work, engaged in civil documentation and migration work”, — said the Secretary General of the OAS Almagro.

According to Almagro, the OAS also received information from victims of torture in Nicaragua who claim that the massacres of them were Cubans.

“Cuba — enemy of democracy and human rights for the entire Western world… It’s time to put an end to the impunity of the Cuban dictators. We will get justice for Latin American countries, victims of torture, repression and violation of freedoms”, added Almagro.

The Secretary-General said about the intention of the OAS to act in defense of the persecuted in Cuba opposition activists.

“We will achieve justice in cases where the Cubans were deprived of their rights, tortured or turned into political prisoners”, — he stressed.

As reported UNN, Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS) Luis Almagro said that the organization “did not recognize” the results of the elections to the constituent Assembly of Venezuela.
