Ukraine hopes for signing of the agreement on “Open skies” immediately after Brexit

KIEV. 7 Dec. UNN. Ukraine hopes to sign an Association agreement with the European Union on a common aviation area the day after Brexit. This opinion was expressed by Minister of infrastructure Volodymyr Omelian during a meeting with the Minister of transport of France, Elizabeth Bourne, reports UNN with reference to the press service Mininfrastruktury.

“I am also grateful for the active stance of France regarding the common aviation area. Because in fact the limiting element right now is the lack of a common aviation area between Ukraine and the EU. I really hope that the next day after a BREXIT we will be able to sign this Agreement”, — quotes the Minister press service of the IMU.

We will remind, earlier the Ministry of Infrastructure reported that they expect the signing of the agreement on common aviation area with the EU in 2019, but still the agreement is not signed, because there is a conflict between Britain and Spain on the inclusion or non-inclusion of Gibraltar airport.
