Spetsnaz of FSB have carried out special operation on detention of one of heads of the local police Department in the Kursk region.

This reports the press center of the Federal security service of the Russian Federation, reports Диалог.UA.

Arrested was acting chief of the police Department of Zolotukhinskiy district of the Colonel Dmitry Borzenkov. He was accused of working for the Ukrainian secret services. According to the FSB, Borzenkov was collecting sensitive information about the Russian internal Affairs bodies and handed them over to the security Service of Ukraine.

Now concerning the arrested person the investigation is underway under article 275 of the Criminal code of the Russian Federation (high treason). In the case of a guilty plea Borzenkova faces a prison sentence of twelve to twenty years of imprisonment or payment of fine in the amount up to 500 000 Russian rubles.

As we reported earlier, the FSB arrested a Ukrainian soldier on adminpraise with the occupied Crimea. The operation the Russians have presented as “leaving” position to “influence”.

Later, the FSB has posted a video of the interrogation of a soldier. Captured Ukrainian said that he wasn’t kidnapped.
