The CCU received a presentation about the appeal of membership of foreigners on the Supervisory boards of state-owned enterprises

KIEV. June 15. UNN. The constitutional Court of Ukraine received a constitutional representation of 48 people’s deputies of Ukraine concerning the constitutionality of the membership of foreigners in the Supervisory boards of state enterprises. About it UNN reported with reference to the press service of the CCU.

“The subject of the right to constitutional petition challenged certain provisions of the Economic code of Ukraine, law of Ukraine “About management of objects of state property”, the Procedure for the determination and confirmation of state representatives appointed to Supervisory boards of state unitary enterprises and those who participate in the General meeting and are elected to Supervisory boards of business companies, whose authorized capital more than 50 percent of shares (shares) belong to the state, approved by the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine from March 10, 2017 No. 143, and Requirements for independent member of the Supervisory Council of the state unitary enterprises and economic companies, in the authorized capital of which more than 50 percent of shares (interest) belong to the state, approved by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine from March 10, 2017 No. 142,” – said in the message.

It is reported that according to the authors of the petition, these provisions do not comply with several articles of the Basic Law of Ukraine.
