The birth rate in Ukraine is decreasing every year 30-35 thousand children – Denisov

KIEV. June 1. UNN. In Ukraine from 2017, the birth rate is reduced by 30-35 thousand children each year. At the end of 2019 born 7 million 579 thousand babies. This was stated at the briefing by the Ombudsman on human rights Lyudmila Denisova, reports the correspondent of UNN.

“On the issue of surrogacy. The birth rate in Ukraine is reduced every year. If, for example, in 2011, children were more than 8 million, by the end of 2019 – 7 million 579 thousand. If we look at birth, then 2017-18-19 each year the birth rate decreases to 30-35 thousand. I think that we need the achievements of the programme in order to support fertility including using reproductive technology, if parents have health problems,” said Denisov.

We will remind, the representative of the President of Ukraine for children’s rights Mykola Kuleba has responded to the ethical and legal problems of surrogate motherhood, in particular on the territory of Ukraine. In his opinion, is slavery, which is aimed to satisfy the interests of clients who can be anyone.
