“KamAZ” knocked down 18-year-old cyclist
LVIV-KYIV. March 21. UNN. In the Lviv region due to a collision with a truck killed 18-year-old cyclist. About it reported in a press-service of GUNP in the region, reports UNN.
“A traffic accident occurred on 20 March at 18:15 in one of the villages of Yavoriv district. As established previously, the law enforcement officers, 40-year-old driver of the truck “KAMAZ” has made arrival on the cyclist, 18-the summer inhabitant of one of settlements of the area. As a result of hitting the cyclist received injuries from which he died at the scene,” the police said.
On this fact openly criminal proceedings under part 2 of article 286 (violation of safety rules of road traffic) criminal code of Ukraine.
The sanction of article prescribes punishment is deprivation of liberty for a term from three till eight years with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years or without such deprivation.
