KIEV. 18 APR. UNN. In Zhytomyr region as of the morning of April 18 remains nine heat sources, five of which are localized. This was during the briefing said the Director of emergency response DSNs Vladimir Demchuk, the correspondent of UNN.
“With regard to the situation in Zhytomyr region. 17 April on the territory of four forest farms originated and recorded 15 fires. As of this morning, remains of nine heat sources, five of which are localized. Over the four cells, a minor continues the active phase of extinguishing grass and forest litter, both on the perimeter and in the middle of the cell where there is a possibility of access of the personnel of the equipment for fighting, ” – said Demchuk.
According to him, formed the reserve forces of gschs a total population of 250 people and 50 vehicles, which will immediately be attracted in the case of aggravation of the situation on the territory of Zhytomyr region.
“In the State service for emergency situations cooperation has been established with the Ministry of emergency situations of the Republic of Belarus on joint implementation of measures to eliminate fires,” said Demchuk.
