KIEV. March 24. UNN. Kharkiv local Prosecutor’s office sent to the Kominternovskiy district court of Kharkov indictment concerning 42-the summer Kharkov citizen, who is suspected of murder. This was reported by press service of the Prosecutor of the Kharkiv region, reports UNN.
According to the Deputy head of the local Prosecutor’s office Dmitry Kozak, the pre-trial investigation established that in December last year, the attacker came to visit his friend — a 57-year-old former athlete, who was part of the Soviet Union national team in biathlon.
“Men made feast. Were drinking heavily. Between them there was a conflict that escalated into a fight. Guest hands and feet began to beat the former athlete. Threw it on the floor, stabbed more than 70 times and ran away. Injuries were incompatible with life. The owner died. The body was found by a nephew who the next day came to visit uncle”, — informed the Prosecutor’s office.
The man was detained in a few days. His learned neighbors of the deceased. The attacker does not admit his guilt and refuses to testify. Also the suspect has previously been convicted for committing a similar crime. Now it is at the request of the Prosecutor’s office is under arrest.
A man suspected of committing a crime under part 1 St. 115 (Premeditated murder) of the Criminal code of Ukraine. The sanction of article prescribes punishment in the form of imprisonment for the term from 7 till 15 years.
