Russian far East continues to decline in connection with the arrest of the Governor of Khabarovsk territory Sergey Furgala. 18 July, on the eighth day of protests on the streets of Khabarovsk, got a record number of citizens.

In social networks there are a large number of photos and video from Saturday’s protest in Khabarovsk.

The state loyal to the Kremlin media reported only about a few thousand protesters. However, judging by the personnel and eyewitnesses, they greatly underestimate the scale of the protests.

“According to various estimates, up to 82 thousand, they say. There are people collecting signatures, a woman brought a bag full of paper. 50 thousand was counting all the paper ran out,” – said in Khabarovsk activist Alexei Moiseev.

In addition to slogans in support of arrested Furgala on the sound protest and anti-government statements. Under the building of the mayoralty of Khabarovsk people are chanting “Putin thief!”, “Putin resign!”, “Moscow, come in!” and so on.

It is worth noting that the protests are capturing not only in Khabarovsk, but in the other cities of the Russian Far East, particularly in Vladivostok.

It is important to note that the police did not prevent the protests. There was not a single arrest of activists.
