As informs edition The Guardian, a British energy company Highview Power builds a giant industrial installation in which to store energy is to use compressed air.
At the end of construction you intend to use the electricity to compress the air to a liquid state in a giant tank. Then as needed the air will be used to run turbines that produce clean electricity.
Ridculously battery will become a stepping stone towards a new fully renewable energy infrastructure. In the development of the project the UK government has already invested 12.42 million dollars.
It is assumed that this battery will last for three to four decades. Currently the company is recruiting staff for its service from among the engineers in the field of oil and gas production.
