The Chinese company Shenzhen GPD Technology (Hong Kong), specializing in the creation of ultra-miniature PC gaming, introduced the console Win Max.
Compared to predecessors, Win Max has a number of significant advantages: the surface is more smooth, instead of large colored buttons with text, the developers offered the black keys with colored engraved letters with backlight. The console in the form of micro-laptop also has a small touchpad, a couple of joysticks and buttons needed for games.
Between the display and keyboard appeared in the gap, giving the gadget more modern look. Size GPD Max Win 207 x 145 x 26 mm, weight 790 grams. It is equipped with 8-inch touchscreen IPS-screen with aspect ratio of 16:10 and a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, covered with Corning Gorilla glass 5. The basis of Win Max – Quad-core Intel i5-1035G7 on the basis of the Ice Lake. Internal memory is 16 GB plus 512 GB model in the form of NVME SSD. Power source – the battery pack 57 W·h
Thanks to its hardware stuffing, GPD Win Max is able to provide the most modern games frame rates over 50 FPS. The console has several ports connection: Thubderbolt 3, USB Type-C, 2 × USB 3.1 Type-A, HDMI 2.0 b supports transmission of 4K 60fps, RJ45 microSDXC.
