“I think that the real chances to continue their season in Euroleague, almost none. As far as I know, to do group work today began only Spanish and German clubs. The Euroleague is a commercial organization focused on profit. The Euroleague management is trying to minimize losses and for this reason delaying the announcement of the end of the season”, — quotes the Gomel Nevasport.
The Euroleague season has been suspended in mid-March due to pandemic coronavirus. At the time the pause was leading in the regular season of the Turkish “Anadolu Efes”. CSKA Moscow ranked fourth, “Khimki” — the seventh, and “Zenith” —the last one.
Earlier it was reported that Russian basketball team were not included in the team of the decade in the Euroleague.
