FIBA announced new dates for Olympic qualification

KIEV. May 15. UNN. The international basketball Federation (FIBA) has determined the new date of the qualifying tournament for the 2020 Olympics among men’s teams, reports UNN citing the website of FIBA.
After discussions with the International Olympic Committee, FIBA confirmed that it postponed the men’s FIBA qualifying tournaments will be held from 29 June to 4 July 2021.
Only qualifications of the Olympiad-2020 will involve 24 men’s national teams. Four of the qualifying tournament to be held in Canada, Croatia, Lithuania and Serbia.
Four winner will join the seven teams who guaranteed their participation at the Olympic games in Tokyo, and also to the team of the host – Japan.
We also add directly the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo to be held from 23 July to 8 August 2021.
