Cinera Edge startup has developed a “wearable cinema” – headset-glasses to watch movies in high quality. The gadget boasts a resolution of up to 5K and Dolby Surround.

Cinera inside Edge is equipped with two OLED display for 21 mm each. They have a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, which brings the picture to the level of 5K (for the width). The screens provide a field of view of 66 degrees, which is close to the parameters IMAX (70 °). According to the developers, the possibility of a headset is the equivalent of watching a movie on the screen with a diagonal of 300 cm from a distance of 20 meters.

Cinera Edge has dimensions of 197 x 207 x 10 mm and weighs 490 grams. Weight is shifted to the sides to facilitate the use of the gadget for a long time. Battery capacity of 5200 mAh, enough for three hours of work.

Cinera Edge 7 uses Android and supports out of the box most of the popular streaming services like Netflix, YouTube, HBO Max, Disney+, Hulu and Twitch. It also supports MicroSD. Model Pro, it also has a HDMI port which allows to connect virtually to any Blu-Ray player, computer or console.

Near the temple on the headset predusmotren the touchpad to control menus. Image settings can be configured individually for each user. Cinera Edge already has collected $ 325,000 on Kickstarter, the prices for the standard model start at $449, the Pro version available from $549. Supply of set should start in December this year.
