The legendary goalkeeper of the Turin Juventus ‘ Gianluigi Buffon has set a new record for the number of matches in the Italian Serie A.

A landmark for 42-year-old goalkeeper was the match with Torino, he came into the starting lineup and that was his 648th in Serie A, which is a new League record.
Previous record holder was the legend of AC Milan Paolo Maldini.
His first match in Serie A, Buffon held in November 1995 with AC Milan. That game ended in a 0-0 draw.
