Avakov: the Pavlograd chemical plant will produce fuel for Ukrainian missile systems

KIEV. June 6. UNN. In February, was restored missile programme and changes in the military order, now Pavlograd chemical plant will produce fuel for Ukrainian missiles. This was stated by the Minister of internal Affairs Arsen Avakov, reports UNN citing the interior Ministry.

“A few months ago we had a situation where the Pavlograd chemical plant almost stopped working. A large number of people fired because it turned a number of programs. It was not done professionally, mistakes made by local leaders and the leaders in Kiev. I know the problems of this enterprise more 2014. The Cabinet of Ministers and the national security Council decided to deploy a program to create solid fuel for Ukrainian missile complexes “Alder”, “Neptune”, etc. in addition, separately, the Government has allocated funds for the disposal of rocket fuel, which also deals with this plant,” — said Avakov.

He added that the main task of that Bureau “Luch”, Pavlograd chemical plant and a number of other defense companies were able to produce missile systems, which are able to protect our Maritime and land borders.

Avakov said that after the visit he will report to the President of Ukraine, what problems there are in production and how to solve them.

“Separately it is also necessary to solve the issue Pavlograd mines. The government is looking for solutions to in the near future, these mines have earned,” added the Minister.

The Director of the plant Leonid Shiman noted that in February the decree of the President was restored missile programme and changes in the defense order.

“We are now planning to recruit about 540 workers. And in the coming weeks we will restore the production of missile systems for the needs of defense. It concerns “the Alder-M”, “Typhoon” and operational — tactical complexes “Thunder”. Of course, such precision weapons significantly enhance the military capability of the Armed forces, and in the future, we want to expand production and to increase the staff up to a thousand jobs,” — said Leonid Shiman.

Avakov said that the plant management has introduced a special control over observance of environmental safety, both in the factory and in the area of production.

Pavlograd chemical plant is engaged in four activities — recycling, manufacturing fuel for missiles, the production of rocket motors and the manufacture of explosive materials. All production processes related to explosives or hazardous chemicals occur automatically, without the participation of people to minimize risks in the workplace.
