In Kharkov chose a measure of restraint the five men who threatened police with an axe
KIEV. June 6. UNN. The Kiev district court of Kharkiv arrested five men who threatened police with an axe, cut the wheel and broke the glass in the car. It is reported by UNN with reference to the Department of communication GUNP in the Kharkiv region.
“Two Kharkiv 33 and 34, the court chose a measure of restraint in form of detention for 60 days without the right to bail. The inhabitant of Kharkov is 38 years old and 42-year resident of Krasnokutsk district arrested for 60 days with a right of Deposit of 420 thousand hryvnias. The fifth participant in the events 34-year-old resident of Krasnokutsk district, placed under-house arrest”, — stated in the message.
The police, who promptly arrived at the scene, arrested five of the most active participants of the conflict and seized several wooden sticks, axe, items like two guns and a switchblade, ammunition.
On this fact investigators have opened two criminal proceedings: under part 1 of article 345 (threat or violence concerning the employee of law enforcement body) and article 348 (attempt on the life of the employee of law enforcement body, the member of public formation on protection of a public order and state border or a serviceman) of the Criminal code of Ukraine.
The detainee it is declared suspicion in Commission of these criminal offences and remanded. According to article penalties the men could face a maximum penalty of imprisonment for up to 15 years or life imprisonment.
It is reported that during the meeting in the courtroom, the 33-year-old detainee tried to slit my wrists. Due to the instantaneous reaction escort service this attempt was immediately discontinued. Physicians gave the man the necessary assistance.

Recall that the event took place on June 3 in Krasnokutsky district, Kharkiv region. A car with police officers who were on business in the district, was surrounded by the citizens, who called themselves settlers “slobozhans’ka Sich”. Then aggressive men were holding sticks, axes and guns, threatening the police officers. As reported then the police, they cut the wheel and cracked the windshield in the car, and also made one shot from the weapon in the side window.
