Amid increasing tension with Armenia in Karabakh – more than 23 thousand people went to the volunteers of the Azerbaijani armed forces
KIEV. July 19. UNN. More than 23 thousand volunteers expressed a desire to join the ranks of the National army of Azerbaijan on the background of aggravation of the conflict with Armenia. This was stated by the country’s civil service for mobilization and conscription, says UNN.
“Today, more than 23 500 people have applied to the State service of mobilization and military service in electronic form, but also in local offices, departments and units, expressed their wishes and were duly registered”, — stated in the message.
Civil service thanked the citizens for their high patriotism and observance of sanitary measures at ports of call during the epidemic of the coronavirus.
It is noted that among the volunteers there are many famous personalities. For example, for military service joined the national actor of Azerbaijan Faik Agaev, actor Ilgar Musayev, the poet Shahriyar Del Gerani, the rapper Qurd (Emil Eminov), model Samir Aliyev, the winner of the title II, Vice Mrs. Top of the World 2015 Tehrani Behrouzi and others.
Earlier, the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev addressed the nation, urging them to defend the homeland.
