A special operation to free hostages in luck coordinate Avakov and Deputy Bakanova
KIEV. July 21. UNN. Special operation on release of hostages in Lutsk, which holds the bus, the attacker already about six hours, is coordinated by the Minister of internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov and first Deputy Chairman of SBU – the head of the Antiterrorist center at the security service Ruslan Baraniecki. “On the scene are the Minister of internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov and first Deputy Chairman of SBU – the head of the Antiterrorist center at the security service Ruslan Baranetsky to coordinate the actions of all involved structural units of law enforcement bodies”, – is spoken in the message.
As indicated, the police help employees of the security Service of Ukraine during their special operation on liberation of hostages, ensuring law and order in the emergency site.
Earlier explosives GUNP in Volyn region defused a grenade that was thrown by the attacker.
We will remind, in the morning in the center of Lutsk people with explosives and weapons seized a bus with hostages in the city and region introduced operational plan “Hostage”. The police reported that the bus is about 20 hostages. Now on casualties no information.
The Deputy Minister of internal Affairs Anton Gerashchenko said that the person who seized hostages in a bus in the center of Lutsk, called at 9:25 in the police, and had the name “Maxim Bad”.
Later Gerashchenko said that the suspect in the hostage-taking in a bus in the center of Lutsk is a citizen of Ukraine, Compressor Maksim Stepanovich – twice previously convicted man, who is about 10 years spent in correctional institutions for committing a number of grave crimes.
