ODESSA-KIEV. May 9. UNN. Ended with a solemn event on the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of victory over Nazism in the Second world war. In Odessa and region they were calm. About this informed the head of GUNP in Odessa region Dmitry Golovin, reports UNN.
“In total, the event was attended by about 50 thousand to 35 thousand in Odesa and 15 thousand in the districts. To the protection of public order were involved more than a thousand policemen and soldiers of the National guard of Ukraine. Law enforcement officials have done everything possible to maintain calm in the region,” – said Golovin.
The result of the work of police officers, nathwani and representatives of other power structures, significant violations of public order were recorded.
Total for the day to administrative responsibility the police brought five citizens. The two of them for disorderly conduct, three for the promotion of St. George (guards) ribbon. Initiated three criminal proceedings on article 436-1 (production, distribution, Communist, Nazi symbols and propaganda of the Communist and national socialist (Nazi) totalitarian regimes) of the criminal code of Ukraine. With two men invited to the police conducted preventive conversations.
Law enforcement officers continue to serve in the strengthened mode.
