KIEV. May 9. UNN. In the Kiev district of Odessa police stopped the car “BMW” with a red flag with Soviet symbols. On this fact initiated criminal proceedings, reports UNN with reference to the division of communications of the National police of the Odessa region.
According to law enforcers, the vehicle the offender was seen near the area April 10. The driver tried to escape.
On the territory of the Kiev district of the city, his car was stopped by the police.
Now on a scene works it is investigative-task force of Shevchenkovsky police station.
Information on this fact brought in the Unified register of pre-trial investigations under part 1 of article 4361 (production, distribution, Communist, Nazi symbols and propaganda of the Communist and national socialist (Nazi) totalitarian regimes) of the Criminal code of Ukraine. The man faces restriction of liberty for a term up to five years or imprisonment for the same term, with confiscation of property or without it.
As reported UNN, a mass event on the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of victory over Nazism in the Second world war in Odessa happened with Soviet symbols, exchanges and slogans “Glory to Putin”.
