USA opened Guido access to government accounts in American banks Venezuela

KIEV. 29 Jan. UNN. The United States has opened up access to the assets of the Venezuelan government in us banks, the leader of the Venezuelan opposition Juan, Guido. This is stated in the statement of the US state Department, reports UNN.

“On 25 January, the Secretary of state Michael Pompeo confirmed the authority of the interim President of Venezuela Juan, Guide to receive and control certain property in the accounts of the government of Venezuela or the Central Bank of Venezuela, administered by the Federal reserve Bank of new York or any other government-insured Bank of the United States, in accordance with section 25B of the Federal reserve Act”, — stated in the message.

In the state Department believe that such a step will help the legitimate government of Venezuela to protect the related assets for the benefit of the people of Venezuela.

“We encourage other governments to recognize the interim President Juan Guido, and take similar steps to protect the assets of Venezuela from further theft from the side of the corrupt Maduro regime”, — emphasized in the U.S. government.
