The US will pass 200 machines for artificial lung ventilation (ALV), reports “Voice of America”, citing government documents.

First the ventilator, produced in California, are ready to be shipped to Moscow on Wednesday. Another 150 vehicles will be sent to Russia on may 26.

The US government fully paid the cost of vehicles, equipment start-up and the cost of shipping. In total, according to representatives of the administration, expenses were $ 4.7 million.

Ventilators will be delivered to Russia military aircraft, as between the United States and Russia currently has almost no commercial flights.

The decision “is not a signal of any partnership with the Russian military”, the stress in the USA.
