The number of victims of the riots in Kazakhstan increased to 10 employees

KIEV. 9 Feb. UNN. The number of victims of the riots that took place in Kordai district of Zhambyl region of Kazakhstan, increased to 10 people. It is reported by UNN citing television channel “Khabar 24”.

Earlier it was reported that the riots that erupted on the night of 8 February, claimed the lives of eight people. Deputy Minister of health Kamalian Nadirov said that in hospitals there are 37 people.

Recall, and the South of Kazakhstan, where there have been ethnic clashes with dead and wounded, declared a state of emergency for fear of new clashes.

The cause of the riots that erupted on the evening of 7 February and which led to the deaths of at least eight people and injuring more than forty, not yet clear. Clashes between ethnic Kazakhs and Dungans who live in the area – ethnic group of Chinese origin, but the Muslim faith.
