Christmas table can not be imagined without “Olivier”. For several decades this salad is an integral part of the festive menu. For its preparation you will need:

• 6 medium potatoes

• 2 large carrots

• 6 eggs

• 400-600 g of cooked sausage

• 1 Bank of canned peas

• 4 pickled cucumbers

• mayonnaise

• salt.

1. Carrots and potatoes boil “in uniform”. Boil eggs.

2. Peel the vegetables and cut into cubes. In the same way slice the eggs, sausage and cucumbers.

3. Add the peas.

4. Add the salad, salt and mayonnaise.

5. Mix well.

Recipe For Cooking A Turkey No. 2


• 6 potatoes

• 2 large carrots

• 6 eggs

• 2 chicken

• 4 fresh cucumber

• sour cream or yogurt

• French mustard

• salt.

1. Boil the carrots, potatoes, eggs.

2. Cook chicken, adding a little salt and, if desired, Bay leaf.

3. Peel the vegetables and eggs and cut them in cubes. Finely chop the chicken.

4. Add the peas.

5. Mix the sour cream or yogurt with mustard in the proportions of¼.

6. Add the salad, salt, sauce and mix well.

Another traditional salad is often found on the holiday tables of Ukrainians, is a herring under “fur coat”. For its preparation you will need:

• 200 g herring fillet

• 2 medium beets

• 2-3 medium sized potatoes

• 1 large carrot

• 1 onion

• 2 eggs

• mayonnaise.

1. Boil beets, carrots and potatoes “in uniform”. Boil eggs.

2. Cut into small cubes the herring and lay it on a flat dish.

3. Finely chop the onion, lay on top of herring and mayonnaise.

4. Clean and RUB on a coarse grater potato. To put on top of onion, a little salt and grease with mayonnaise.

5. Clean and RUB on a coarse grater carrots. Put on a plate and spread mayonnaise.

6. Then RUB the peeled eggs, put on top and spread mayonnaise.

7. Peel and grate the beets. To put on top, a little salt and grease with mayonnaise.

8. Refrigerate for a few hours for impregnation.

Another traditional “fish” layer is salad “Mimosa”. Recipe “Mimosa” is very similar to the herring under “fur coat”, but for its preparation you will need:

• 3 medium sized potatoes

• 4 eggs

• 1 large carrot

• 1 large onion

• 200 g canned in oil fish (e.g., Pacific saury)

• mayonnaise

• salt.

1. Boil the potatoes, carrots and eggs.

2. Then peel the vegetables and RUB on a coarse grater.

3. Eggs clean and separate the yolks from the whites. And then, and then rubbed on a fine grater.

• 200 g of cherry tomatoes

• 100 g Parmesan cheese

• Half of white bread

• 2 cloves of garlic

• 3 tablespoons olive oil

• salt

For the sauce:

• 2 eggs

• 2 teaspoons mustard

• 3 tablespoons lemon juice

• 3 tablespoons olive oil

• Parmesan

1. White bread cut into cubes and spread on a baking sheet.

2. Olive oil pour into a small bowl and squeeze in the garlic. Warm the mixture slightly in the microwave.

3. The bread and oil with garlic and put in a preheated 180 oven for 10-15 minutes.

4. Chicken fillet cut into small pieces, season with salt and pepper, and fry in small amount of oil.

5. Wash the lettuce and tear it with your hands into fairly large pieces.

6. For the sauce you need eggs at room temperature dipped in boiling water for one minute.

7. Pour the eggs into a bowl, add lemon juice, mustard, olive oil, a little grated Parmesan and beat everything in a blender.

8. Put on a dish lettuce, spread on top of chicken, cut in half or quarter the cherry tomatoes, thinly sliced Parmesan and croutons. From top to pour the sauce.

a whole beef tongue

• 1 avocado

• 2 eggs

• 200 g mushrooms

• 1 cucumber

• 1 onion

• 1 Bank of canned peas

• mayonnaise

• vegetable oil for frying.

1. Boil in salted water beef tongue.

2. Boil eggs and cool.

3. Onions cut into half rings, fry in vegetable oil for a few minutes. Then add the mushrooms and fry until tender. Season with salt and pepper.

4. Eggs and avocado cut into cubes, tongue and cucumber strips. Add the peas.
