The family will receive 1.5 million UAH in case of death of health worker from the coronavirus disease. This was during the briefing said the Minister of health, Maxim Stepanov, the correspondent of UNN.
“The government has decided, accordingly, a resolution to allocate additional funds to the social insurance Fund. This amount of funds was, if I remember correctly, 2 billion UAH 278 million. In particular, these funds have been provided for the payment to medical workers, patients, COVID-19. In addition, COVID-19 was included in the list of occupational diseases. This is the question, which deals with the Ministry of social policy and social insurance Fund. If we are talking about specific payments, if there is an occupational disease health care worker to COVID-19 – a payment to 630 thousand hryvnia,” – said Maxim Stepanov.
He noted that this amount depends on the degree of disability, or whether disability.
“Also includes funds that are paid to families of killed health workers. They make 1 million 576 thousand UAH”, – said Maxim Stepanov.
