Monday, February 12, representatives of Prosecutor’s office and forensic experts performed an exhumation of the bodies of three children killed on 15 September during a fire in a camp “Victoria”, for conducting re-examination in Kharkov. About it reports UKRINFORM with reference to the head of the press service of the Odessa regional Prosecutor’s office Inna Verba.

“On 25 January, the parents of two dead children appealed to the Prosecutor’s office of Odessa region with a request for exhumation and an independent DNA expert bodies because they want to be sure that no errors occurred at the burial of children in the West Odessa cemetery and the cemetery of the village Troitskoye in Belyaevsky district. It is planned that the removal of the bodies will be carried out today, after which they are taken for forensic study in Kharkov,” – said Verba.

Recall, 15 September 2017 late in the evening in the Odessa children’s camp “Victoria” was a fire – lit wooden building of one of the buildings. The fire completely destroyed a two-storey wooden house, which at the time of the fire were 42 children. Killed three children and two injured.

Employees of gschs reported that the camp for several months worked without a fire alarm.
