“Winter and summer temperature extremes negatively affect batteries. If in winter your smartphone just refuses to charge or turn off, in the summer there are more serious consequences — up to spontaneous combustion. It is necessary to follow, since the summer every year is getting hotter,” warned a specialist in an interview with radio Sputnik.

He noted that the device may feel warm even when off, so you must make sure that the phone does not get direct sunlight.

In addition, Mr Ryabinin recommended to avoid summer dense covers that prevent air circulation and do not run heavy apps for a long time.

According to him, if the smartphone is hot, do not abruptly it is cool, better let it cool gradually.

Earlier, the Deputy Chairman of the Duma Committee on health protection Nikolay Govorin in a conversation with FAN reminded of the need to disinfect smartphones in connection with the situation with coronavirus.
