The court sent the case to the Department head of the Kyiv forensic Bureau
KIEV. 12 Feb. UNN. The attorney General’s office sent to court indictment against the head of the Department of Kiev city clinical Bureau of forensic medical examination. This was reported to UNN in the press service of the office of the attorney General.
“The Prosecutor’s office specialized in the field of supervision in criminal proceedings for war crimes in the sphere of military-industrial complex of the Office of the attorney General 11 Feb 2020 finished pre-judicial investigation and sent to the Podolsky district court of Kyiv indictment against a head of one of the departments of Kiev city clinical Bureau of forensic medical examination”, – stated in the message.
This person is suspected in the compilation and provision of a knowingly false expert opinion in July 2018. According to investigators, this withdrawal of the accused in committing grave and especially grave crimes, allegedly had a serious illness. In the future, the accused and his defence team used this false conclusion the expert to change his measure of restraint, specified in the attorney General’s Office.
During pre-trial investigation was conducted two comprehensive forensic-medical examination in the Main Bureau of forensic medical expertise of Ministry of health of Ukraine, and also other strong evidence linking the suspect to the provision of false testimony (part 2 of article 384 of the criminal code of Ukraine).
Recall, the attorney General’s Office recovered from the airport “Borispol” more than 263 million UAH of taxes.
