KIEV. July 27. UNN. The Goloseevsky district court was postponed to August 21 the hearing on the charges of extortion of 500 thousand dollars. a bribe of the Director of the Institute of Agroecology and environmental management. About this on his page in Facebook reports a press-service of Specialized anti-corruption Prosecutor’s office, reports UNN.
“July 26, 2018 in the Goloseevsky district court of Kiev did not happen a hearing on the charge of Director of the Institute of Agroecology and nature management of National Academy of agrarian Sciences of Ukraine in obtaining illegal benefit in the amount of 500 thousand US dollars for not preventing the construction of a residential complex on the land belonging to the Institute.
At the hearing the lawyers of the accused and referred the request to postpone court proceedings”, – stated in the message.
As noted, the next hearing is scheduled on 21.08.2018.
Recall that an indictment against the Director of the Institute of Agroecology and nature management of National Academy of agrarian Sciences of Ukraine was sent to the Holosiyivsky district court in Kyiv for consideration on the merits of 6 April 2018 under part 4 St. 368 Criminal code of Ukraine.
The accused can be punished with imprisonment for a term of eight to twelve years with confiscation of property.
Recall, the indictment against the former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Krivoy Rog, the suspect of receiving a bribe for the assistance in providing recruits deferment from military service, sent to the court.
