Alex Danilov

KIEV. May 21. UNN. The NSDC Secretary Alex Danilov at a meeting on the development of the aviation industry stated that the aircraft industry of Ukraine needs early state aviation program and providing domestic enterprises with state orders. It is reported by UNN citing the press service of the NSDC.

“Under the chairmanship of the national security Council Secretary Alexey Danilov has held a meeting on the development of the aviation industry of Ukraine”, – stated in the message.

It is noted that according to representatives of the aviation industry, the state concern “Ukroboronprom” showed a lack of effectiveness in the management of state aviation enterprises, and hasty corporatization of individual enterprises without taking into account the principles of the state military-industrial policy can lead to negative consequences.

“The NSDC Secretary stressed the urgency of introducing the post of Vice Prime Minister – Minister for defence-industrial policy. Among the key challenges in the aviation industry, as determined by the President Zelensky, Danilov called, in particular, the establishment of a national carrier,” – said in the message.

Turning to the issue of the reform of the civil code “Ukroboronprom”, Danilov warned against rash decisions and noted the need to preserve the unique national production, the scientific base and qualified personnel.

“Representatives of aircraft manufacturers said that in war with Russia they were able to prove documentation for the production of leading models of aircraft to 100%”, – stated in the message.

According to Danilova, the domestic aviation school is really unique, the Ukrainian airline has succeeded in import substitution of critical knowledge-based components of aircraft.

“Daniel also noted the need to develop a long-term state aviation program and provide domestic enterprises with state orders,” – said the press service of the NSDC.

We will remind, in Russia sharply decreased the production of civil and military aircraft, helicopters, drones, space ships, Intercontinental ballistic missiles, as well as accessories.
