Switzerland has appointed an Ambassador to Ukraine and Moldova

KIEV. 16 Dec. UNN. Switzerland has appointed a new Ambassador to Ukraine and Moldova, the current permanent representative in the OSCE, UN and international organizations in Vienna Claude vilda. This is the website of the Federal Department of foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation, reports UNN.

“Claude wild, now Ambassador and Permanent representative of Switzerland to the OSCE, UN and international organizations in Vienna, will become the new Ambassador extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in Ukraine and Moldova”, – stated in the message.

It is noted that the Ambassador will be based in Kiev. He will begin work in 2019.

As reported UNN, the Ambassador of Japan in Ukraine Shigeki Sumi completes his term in that post and returned home. According to Japanese media reports, in early December, the government of Japan appointed a new Ambassador of Japan in Ukraine. They became a 63-year-old Takashi Kurai (Kurai Takashi), who was the Ambassador of Japan to Pakistan, from February 2016.
