A White house source told the publication that trump is working on the dismissal of Jovanovic for almost a year.

“President trump is trying to remove this relic of the Obama… for more than a year. Several times he demanded her dismissal, but she still remains” – said the source.

As UNIAN reported earlier, in an interview with us publication The Hill, the General Prosecutor Yuriy Lutsenko said that the US Ambassador Yovanovitch at their first meeting gave him a list of persons who can be prosecuted. “Unfortunately, at the first meeting with the US Ambassador in Kiev (Jovanovic) gave me a list of persons whom we should not pursue,” said Lutsenko in an interview Hill.TV last week, which was shown March 20. “My response to this was the fact that this is unacceptable. No one in this country – not our President, nor our Parliament, nor the Ambassador is not going to stop me from prosecution if there is a crime,” – said Lutsenko.

In the U.S. State Department called the statement Lutsenko about getting such a list “a complete fabrication”. “The United States does not yet provide any assistance to the Prosecutor General’s office, but before trying to support fundamental reform of the justice sector, including the GPU, after the revolution of dignity in 2014. When it was proved the lack of political will for true reform by the General prosecutors, who succeeded each other, we have used trusted us with a responsibility to the American taxpayers and redirected aid to more productive projects”, – said the representative of US state Department.
