Four years ago the inventor Isaac Porras launched on Kickstarter the company to promote its Solarcycle – compact “solar” charger with a power of 5 watts. And here is another new Solderdoodle Plus, which can be called multifunctional wireless soldering iron.
This is a real gift for fans to create things with their hands. Due to several nozzles, with its help you can solder, do finish, burn the wood to make holes, cut. To change the nozzles in the complete set there is a special device.
Case Solderdoodle Plus printed on a 3D printer. It is the control panel with touch switches and led indicators of operation modes. The size of the soldering iron (length and diameter) 21 x 4.5 cm, weight – 150 grams.
According to Isaac Parras de La Fuente, the tip of the soldering iron can heat up to 300 °C in just 15 seconds. Charge lithium-ion battery with capacity of 7.2 V / 2000 mAh is enough for an hour of work. When not in use, turn on the “sleep” mode. The user is warned about the need to recharge the battery, which provides a USB connector.
It is expected that Solderdoodle Plus will cost 194 dollar, plus $ 55 will have to pay for a set of seven nozzles. Now it can be purchased on Kickstarter for only $ 159. The beginning of sales is scheduled for December 2019.
