The company CookingPal introduced at CES 2020 “smart kitchen” called Julia. From analogues differs her caring attitude towards the user, which by default is considered a complete beginner in cooking. This means that the whole process of cooking will be spelled out in steps, and each, even the most naive question Julia will be able to give good advice.
Structurally, the kitchen consists of a module for cooking and tablet control. The basic design of Julia has a 3 litre cooking capacity and steamer, plus a mount for the pan. The device itself chops, cooks, mixes, boils, filters, propaream and fries, and get heated up to 130 ℃. And weighing products, whips and emulsifies them, and when completed – will self-clean when pouring cleaning products and set the desired mode.
The tablet resistant to water and dust, equipped with a special stand and control wheel – not to touch the screen with dirty hands. It also supports voice commands and reports about the processes occurring in the cooking. If necessary, you can duplicate most of the functionality in the app for smartphones.
Interesting option – Julia with camera recognition system products can examine the contents of the fridge and pick up recipes that they can cook. Also it’ll tell you in detail about the role of each component, able to order fresh produce in online store and gives advice on how to handle them. On sale smart kitchen will arrive by the end of 2020, at a price “below $1000”, according to the manufacturer.
