Italian singer Albano Carrisi, known under the name of al Bano, commented on the decision of the Ministry of culture of Ukraine to make it to the list of people who “endanger national security”.

As he pointed out La Repubblica, he was very surprised at this news.
“I never said a word against Ukraine, I never gave even assessments. Find it unacceptable that I, the singer of the world, now regarded as a terrorist. I have never had a gun, even mentally,” he said.
The contractor said that he intends to appeal to the Ambassador of Ukraine and representatives of Ukrainian Ministry, to understand how his name appeared in the list.
“When I heard about it, I thought it was a joke,” said the singer.
Separately, he added that he was in the Ukraine “about three or four years ago, and then all was good.”
Earlier it became known that the Ministry of culture of Ukraine submitted a list of persons who “posed a threat to national security”, the Italian singer Albano Carrisi, known under the name of al Bano. Before this list was made to the Russian actor Leonid Yarmolnik, Irina Alferova.
