The rating of the Russian analytical portal ICORating agreed to pay US $268 998 as part of the settlement of allegations of failing to disclose information on payments received from the issuers.
“Russian organization of ICORating agreed to pay $268 998 to settle charges that it did not disclose information about payments received from issuers”, — TASS quoted the statement of the Federal Commission United States securities and exchange Commission (SEC).
It is noted that, according to the Commission, the portal was prepared and published “research reports and ratings of digital assets on the basis of the block chain including tokens or coins.
According to the SEC, ICORating was established in September 2016. The headquarters of the portal is located in Saint Petersburg. ICORating indicated in the Commission “has previously stated that it has offices in new York, Amsterdam and Singapore.”
