Qatar and Turkey began joint military exercises
Uncategorized August 1, 2017Qatar and Turkey began joint military exercises, according to Turkish authorities, reports Hürriyet Daily News.
The exercise was attended by more than 250 Turkish soldiers and 30 vehicles.
In the first phase of the exercise will involve Turkish land forces. In the second phase of the exercise will join the naval forces of the two countries.
In particular, the exercises will be attended by Turkish frigate TCG Gökova, who arrived in Qatar with more than 200 military on Board.
Exercises are part of the agreement between Qatar and Turkey aimed at strengthening defense capability.
Earlier today it was reportedthat Qatar has filed a complaint with the world trade organization, to challenge a trade boycott by Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and the UAE.
