The situation with COVID-19 in the who European region

The head of the British government, Boris Johnson on Tuesday said that in some European countries has already begun a second wave of coronavirus, reports “Interfax”. “Let’s be clear about what is happening in Europe – some of our European friends. I’m afraid that we’re starting to see in some places signs of a second wave of the pandemic,” said Johnson, being in Nottingham.

He noted that the UK took “swift and decisive action” on the weekends, by entering the mandatory 14-day quarantine for all coming from Spain, which is one of the most popular tourist destinations for Britons. Like the decision to quarantine has previously criticized both the Madrid and the British opposition labour party.

The Prime Minister of Spain Pedro sánchez said the decision “unbalanced” and stated that the situation in some parts of the country are much safer than in some areas of the UK.

On July 27, the Guardian newspaper wrote that the European countries increasingly are preparing for the second wave COVID-19 and begin to return some sanity limits. For example, the government of Catalonia has stated that some measures of lockdown – a situation in which stops of public life could return to if in the future the outbreak of coronavirus, it will be impossible to take control within 10 days. Nearly 8 thousand new infections were registered in Catalonia over the last two weeks, it half among all cases identified during this period in Spain.

In Germany, representatives of health declared that is seriously concerned about the increase of cases of infection over the last couple of weeks. The head of the Ministry of health Jens span said that the country introduced mandatory testing for coronavirus for those who visited the territories, where there is a hostile work environment for a new infection.

In France, the health Ministry urged to exercise caution after a sharp rise in infections among young people. Young people urged not to forget to wear masks, wash hands often and keep your distance.
