Poroshenko: In the ‘ 90s, the king of Belgium was sleeping on the floor of the Kiev apartment

President Petro Poroshenko told reporters in Brussels the story of how Belgium’s king Philippe in 1990 incognito visited Kiev.

According to Poroshenko, the king remembered about the event while chatting with him.

“His Majesty remembered the 90-th year, when he was incognito for a few days in Ukraine, has called for a Revolution on granite, slept on the floor in a common Kiev apartment,” – said the President.

Poroshenko noted that he felt very warm attitude to Kiev, Ukraine and Ukrainians.
