KIEV. April 8. UNN. In Odessa region the military personnel of the state border service detained four fishermen on two boats, which are using illegal fishing gear caught fish for the sum about 50 thousand UAH. About it reports Department of interaction with mass media of the State border service of Ukraine, reports UNN.
“Yesterday the border guards of operatively-search divisions of the southern regional office and Belgorod-Dniester squad in one of the basins of the borderland in the Belyaevsky region found the four citizens of Ukraine, which, despite spawning a ban on small boats using nets to catch fish. All citizens, was detained and brought to administrative responsibility”, – stated in the message.
Only law enforcement officers seized approximately 3 km networks and more tacase of fish of different species (mainly carp, roach, carp, etc.). The total damage to the state amounted to about 50 thousand hryvnia. In addition, the fact of detection of signs of a criminal offence under article 249 (illegal occupation of fish, animal or other water extracting craft), according to the National police of Ukraine.
