Pirates carried out two attacks on vessels in Equatorial Guinea by kidnapping three Russians. Two more are in hospital, reported the Russian Embassy in Cameroon on Sunday, reports “Interfax”.
On the Embassy page in Facebook reported that at night on may 9 at standing on the roads of the port city of Malabo the ship Rio Mitong was committed robbery in which the pirates stole one Russian, two Russian citizens were injured and are receiving treatment in the hospital La Paz.
The Embassy said, at the same time in the port city of Luba, 40 km from the capital, the pirates attacked the ship Djibloho and kidnapped aboard two Russians.
To date, the pirates are no requirements not put forward.
The Embassy has stated that it is in constant contact with the competent authorities of Equatorial Guinea, as well as representatives of the shipowner.
