On payments to physicians and other employees: the Cabinet has allocated from the “coronavirus” Fund of 7 billion UAH
KIEV. July 15. UNN. The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a decision to allocate from the Fund of struggle against COVID-19 Ministry of health, more than 7 billion UAH of additional payments for medical workers providing care to patients COVID-19, and other employees, which provide vital activity of the population, the correspondent of UNN.
“This year the system was adopted the decision on increasing wages of medical workers. We did the calculations.. got the appropriate amount of approximately 7.4 billion, below we provided a salary increase as from 1 September 2020. Developed a draft act which will allow the Ministry of health on a grant basis from the Fund of struggle against acute respiratory disease to ensure that payments, bonuses and other medical workers with the purpose of increase of level of payment (labour – ed) of these employees,” – said the Minister of health of Ukraine Maxim Stepanov.
So, the Cabinet has allocated to the Ministry of health of 7 billion 400 million UAH from the Fund of struggle against COVID-19 for additional payments to medical workers providing care to patients COVID-19, and other employees, which provide vital activity of the population.
Recall, the government approved the increase of salaries for doctors from September 1.
